Tobot Titan (또봇 타이탄) is the combination of Tobot X and Tobot Y. Not only is he twice the size, but he also has both Tobot X's strength and Tobot Y's speed.

Titan's biggest strength (and weakness) is that the robot can only work best when Ryan and Kory demonstrate excellent teamwork - but Ryan and Kory at times find it difficult to reconcile their differences. [1]

Tobot Titan has an extension mode which grants him solar panels and the Hurricane Spin device.

Fiction[]

Voice Actor: 조호금 (season 2), 하룡이 (season 3 onwards) (Korean), Marco Soranio (English), more...

Traits[]

Appearance[]

Titan is bigger than X and Y and Z but is slightly smaller than Tobot Tritan, his head has Red ear wings and has a V like visor, his chest is Red and his abdomen has a V, the abdomen flashes for separating. His top body has a Blue color (Possibly from Tobot Y) and his legs have an Orange color (Possibly from Tobot X) his legs have side skirts that occasionally spread out in some scenarios. He also has tires on his feet. His toys are able to use them as skates but this has never been used in the show.

Personality[]

Titan is an energetic combiner that enjoys fighting crime and is sometimes playing around such as in the episode "Wheels and Deals" when Titan puts shows his fingers as a peace sign to the enemies. Titan is also going as far as to risk his energy to protect his pilots such as in the episode "Axels and Allies" in where Ryan and Kory we're about to get shot by projectiles when Titan shielded them draining his last supply of energy.

Relationships[]

  • Ryan and Kory: Titan is very loyal to his pilots, showing protection.
  • Dylan: Titan and Dylan don't really interact with each other that much. However the same cannot be said with his tobot.
  • Tobot Z: Titan and Z are great friends and always go with each other in missions. They care about each other and the help one another. They together combinate as Tobot Tritan

Abilities[]

For weaponry, Titan maintains the gear from X and Y's original incarnations, namely the Proton Charger and the Airbag. In addition to this, Titan has access to the Reflector extension, which gives him solar panels, access to the Hurricane Spin attack, and extra recolors (for some reason). The extension becomes his default armament from season 4 (Korea)/season 1 episode 13 (International) onwards.

Titan's moveset is as follows:

  • Hurricane Spin

In his extension gear, Titan fires a spiraling tornado from the turbine on his chest. It would also be called the tornado spin in two instances of the english dub.

  • Green Energy Pulse/그린 에너지 펀치 (lit "Green Energy Punch")

Titan uses a powered-up punch attack, presumably using the same green energy as the Proton Charger.

  • Maximum Power

Titan gains a short burst of energy, giving him enough strength to break through concrete, among other things.

  • Titan Scan

A scanning ability that allows Titan to view underground or otherwise hidden entities. This move was shown off in the first season and was supposedly performed offscreen once in the second season.

  • Green Energy Storm/소울 에너지 스톰 (lit "Soul Energy Storm")

The finishing move of Titan. The move is only accessible through "Emergency Mode" though what exactly that does is a mystery. Titan launches a large blast of energy at the target.

The English version of this image showed a close-up of the head of a different Titan.

Tobot X and Y, smaller than their individual toys, transform into each half of Tobot Titan. As one of the earliest toys with friction joints, good luck keeping one standing up after several years.

  • Tobot Titan Base Set (2012)

Mini Titan box
Compared to the original Titan toy, this Titan relocates X's front doors from his shoulders to his arms, which are turned sideways. The front bumper of Y slides back with the rest of the hood piece instead of forming little side skirts. As the torso doesn't have loose sliding bits, it's also sturdier than the big toy.

Trivia[]

Background[]

Resemblances[]

  • Titan's combination style (one component forms the legs and feet while the other forms the torso, arms and head) is a classic method for combining robots.

Notes[]

  • He is the only integrated form in the original continuity not to have his components change color.
